Tech Based Health Club Recieves Modern Design to Match
Alive was designed to offer a complimentary, modern experience option to members accustomed to the traditional health club atmosphere. This cutting-edge, tech based facility open 24/7 complete with 1,500 virtual classes and contemporary design elements gives a sense of stepping into the future - catering to the millennial generation’s increasing use of technology in accomplishing fitness goals. Taking advantage of the existing building’s large space, we established zones for various forms of exercise. The entryway features a dramatic sloped ceiling intensified by dynamic linear lighting inspiring movement and drawing users inward. Check-in area offers community tables with wireless charging technology and a focal wood-planked wall displays branding. ‘Floating’ gypsum ceilings add a weightless, airy perception, mimicking flooring paths below. Low walls separate areas while providing wayfinding and preserving an open atmosphere.
