The perfect marriage of historic and innovational design creates an exciting workplace
In this Old Town renovation, our client required more office space for their growing team and expanded into the building next door. Connected by a bridge, the new space needed to blend contemporary design elements from the existing office, with unique historic elements preserved in the new space. The historic building had original brick walls which were exposed from behind layers of materials of years past. DIRTT modular walls were incorporated for a functional yet tailored finished look. Custom sliding felt partitions and 3form recycled resin panels provided vibrancy and playfulness to foster creativity in the workplace. The resulting design successfully blended modern materials and finishes with historic character giving the space a perfect blend of old and new.
